Independent Research

Our data comes from public sources and industry surveys โ€” not from companies looking to sell you something.

๐Ÿ“Š

Real Numbers

We build estimates from actual rate data and published sources, updated regularly as conditions change.

๐Ÿšซ

No Sales Agenda

We don't sell products, collect leads, or earn commissions. The information here is free and unbiased.

Our Mission

Roof replacement is one of the largest home repairs most people will ever face, and contractor quotes vary by 30โ€“50% for the exact same job. RoofReplacementCalc.com helps homeowners understand what a fair price looks like โ€” by material, by square footage, by location โ€” before they invite a single contractor onto their roof.

How We Research

Our cost estimates are built from contractor survey data, material pricing from major distributors, and regional labor cost indexes. We break down estimates by roofing material (asphalt shingles, metal, tile, flat), roof pitch and complexity, and geographic region โ€” because costs vary significantly by state and metro area.

What We Don't Do

We don't refer homeowners to contractors and we don't take commissions on jobs. Our job is to give you the research so you can evaluate quotes yourself. What you do with the numbers is up to you.

Editorial Team

The RoofReplacementCalc.com editorial team researches roofing materials, labor markets, and contractor pricing. We update our cost data twice per year to reflect current material and labor pricing across the US.
